Social mobility

Social mobility

This refers to a change in a person's socio-economic situation, either in relation to their parents (intergenerational mobility) or throughout their lifetime (intragenerational mobility).

In other words, social mobility reflects how an individual's current circumstances compare with those they originated from.

From an I-US perspective, it refers to the effect that an  I-US build will have on social mobility in the population living in the I-US basin.
