In k-SDSS, the concept of advice as part of decision support for policy making is located at the intersection of knowledge brokerage and exploratory modelling and simulation to generate contingent evidence synthesis.
This means that advice in the k-SDSS is a strongly user-centred concept that results from helping the user to perform both the two key functions of seeking to identify the extent and limits of knowledge integrated across (the I-US) relevant disciplines at a given time, and of interpreting evidence, drawing conclusions and implementing the required actions.
